Since 1996, Tiny Tykes has proudly offered an education-focused environment within a warm and caring setting. Our approach nurtures every aspect of a child’s development, helping them grow with confidence, curiosity, and joy.

Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed around each child’s age and developmental stage, encouraging them to discover their strengths and explore new abilities. With more than 80 years of combined experience in early childhood education, our dedicated staff ensures high-quality learning and personalized care. Classrooms are carefully divided by age, and our theme-based lessons help children build foundational skills in reading, writing, science, technology, and math.

Your child’s safety is our top priority. Our secure front-door camera system allows parents and visitors to buzz in. If facial recognition is not detected, our office staff communicates through the speaker system before granting access. Only authorized individuals are permitted to enter the building.

Throughout the year, we host holiday-themed activities, educational field trips, and special in-house events to create enriching and memorable experiences for our students.

Kindergarten readiness is strengthened through our Pre-K multi-sensory learning approach, which encourages curiosity, engagement, and a love of learning. We foster discovery through teacher-guided instruction that builds strong communication skills, the ability to follow directions, and positive cooperative play with peers. Our curriculum closely aligns with the Lynbrook School District’s Kindergarten program, ensuring continuity and a smooth transition. We follow the school districts “Sounds-Write” program. It is a linguistic phonics program that helps children learn to read and write. It’s a multi sensory, code-oriented approach that starts with what children already know, like the sounds of their own language. Sounds-Write teaches children how to represent those sounds in writing and helps them practice blending and segmenting sounds.
